    Position Summary  The Director, Data Science & Analytics will lead a cross functional team focused on integrating marketing measurement capabilities across consumer insights, business intelligence, analytics, and our media agency to develop a cohesive view of marketing effectiveness across traditional and digital media channels to enhance our view of customer-centric marketing across the ecosystem. This role will partner with internal business teams and manage external partners to help leadership make decisions on marketing strategy, campaign planning, effectiveness, and optimization.


    Supervision Exercised: Will directly manage two (2) Data Analysts. 


    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    • In partnership with cross-functional stakeholders help build out our strategic roadmap for marketing effectiveness including measurement, scenario planning and attribution models combining online (Paid/Owned), offline, and console customer journeys.
    • Lead Media Mix Modeling and Multi Touch Attribution vendor partnerships; oversee project timelines, data inputs, data feeds and processes to maximize the return on the portfolio marketing investment.
    • Leverage marketing effectiveness outputs to inform annual strategic planning for marketing investment including product and portfolio level analysis. Recommends through statistical and data analysis optimal product performance, revenue streams and execution.
    • Partner with marketing leaders across Brand, Media, and owned Digital channels to create a comprehensive measurement framework for key franchises.
    • Collaborate with business intelligence team to maintain a marketing data warehouse by providing clear requirements and timely data validations.
    • Develop robust analytic processes to frame campaign expectations, inform decision-making, and recommend marketing strategies
    • Implement solutions to measure and optimize the impact of marketing activities on sales and user engagement
    • Manage a team of media and brand analysts supporting specific brands (games) and media channels (e.g. web) – lead ongoing projects, ad hoc analysis, and insight generation. Researches and recommends new methodologies for modeling and predicting end-user behavior.
    • Synthesize data from various sources to deliver actionable insights and codify learnings as best practices
    • Work closely with marketing teams and agencies to define key performance metrics, create and maintain reports and identify trends and opportunities across media, social and web activities
    • Support Group Manager of CRM and Paid Media Product & Analytics in the roll-out, adoption, and analysis of a closed loop measurement solution.
    • Oversee development of in-house media analytics capabilities to empower day-to-day decision making paid media optimization recommendations through detailed performance analysis, A/B testing and regular reporting cadence.
    • Manage media agency ensuring data quality and accuracy across our media analytics environment; key stakeholder in future ad tech platform decisions.
    • Responsible for integrated measurement initiatives with internal stakeholders, media agency and key media partners; ensuring data and insights are accurate and actionable. Develop channel specific learning agenda to improve paid media ROI across online and offline channels with focus on brand and media KPIs. Builds and enhances key internal and external contacts.
    • Work cross functionally with brand, creative, and media partners to ensure adoption and utilization of data taxonomy and tag management solutions for paid media.

     Minimum Requirements

    Education and Experience

    • Typically has 10 or more years of experience with 5 or more years of management experience.
    • Typically requires a Master’s Degree or Ph.D.
    • Any combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge, and ability required to perform the job.
    • Experience in the video games industry a plus.
