  • Digital Media Specialist

    Position Summary

    Work with the brand and community teams to create digital assets for Capcom video game campaign. Contributes towards digital marketing campaigns using existing digital, social and mobile channels. These assets include but are not limited to online banners, game screenshots, gameplay trailers, producing and managing live broadcasts.



    Essential Functions & Responsibilities

    Gameplay Trailer Creation

    • Works with Digital Media Manager to formulate video structure and narratives that best represent a game and its features with the help of brand teams.
    • Gameplay capture.
    • Collect feedback from all key stakeholders and summarize concisely to agency partners.

    Video Editing

    • Cut region-specific versions of trailers.
    • Assist with creation of assets that align with title’s social media initiatives. Works with Digital Media Manager to create desired impact and feel of videos.
    • Work with community team to edit and create assets for livestreams.
    • Work with provided Adobe project files.
    • Researches various video editing approaches, methodologies, and the development of new or enhanced technical tools.

    Live Broadcasts & Preparation

    • Prepare all necessary assets for livestreams.
    • Create and manage livestream schedule that’s appropriate for Capcom’s currently released and upcoming products.
    • Produce livestreams with talent.
    • Archive live streams and upload to appropriate social channels.
    • May perform multiple roles as cameraperson, sound engineer and lighting technician.
    • Setup and teardown equipment for live shows and other activities as needed.


    • Create screenshots for our fighting titles for PR and social media use.

    Additional Duties

    • Create icons and assets for digital storefronts that align with the tone and features of the respective game.
    • Work with community team to help build content roadmaps and assets.
    • May be requested by Digital Media Manager to prepare analytics and trends in social media to measure monetization opportunities and/or campaign effectiveness.



    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
    • Knowledge of Office software such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficient with both PC and Mac.
    • Familiar with streaming software Xsplit.
    • Experience with streaming on Twitch, Facebook and other platforms.
    • Ability to setup and teardown stream equipment without assistance.
    • Familiar with proper setup for video equipment.
    • Organization of stream equipment.
    • Able to record game footage using key messaging points provided by brand teams.
    • Live event experience.
    • Comfortable presenting on-camera.
    • Ability to work under short deadlines.
    • Manage multiple projects at the same time while maximizing workflow.
    • Able to adapt and adjust projects on the fly to meet new requests.
    • Passion for putting digital assets from our gaming brands in the best light possible.
    • Work as a team player.
    • Familiar with social media platforms.


    Minimum Requirements

    Education and Experience

    • Associates degree or equivalent video editing work experience.
    • 2-3 years of experience with running live broadcasts or other relevant experience.
    • Familiarity with video games.
    • Knowledge and ability to play fighting games a plus.

    • Some travel required, primarily domestic with possible international trips.
    • Standing for long periods of time may be required
    • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Additional work hours may be involved – willing to work overtime into the evening and on weekends, if needed.


    Working Environments

    The work environment will be a typical office setting. Work may occasionally take place at events outside of the office throughout the year with required plane travel.
