Position Summary

 

This Senior Graphic Designer position is a “does it all” role in our fast-paced gaming environment.  The position reports to the Director of Marketing Operations to help support all the different groups within the organization. Collaboration is critical to this role, as this individual will work across several teams and for multiple internal clients. This position is a senior role and you will create strong brand touch-points, build and govern visual identity systems and deliver original creative work. 

You must be a critical thinker with a good design sense, and have strong leadership and communication skills.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and create assets to support department needs across all departments within the company. Including Brand Marketing, PR, Digital, Sales, Licensing and more.
  • Design/layout of all product packaging needs according to style guides and templates.
  • Design/layout booth plans for the Events team. This will include booth layout and other design elements within the booth
  • Maintain archive of finished products and database of art assets.
  • Collect files for print for Production Manager.
  • Maintain updated first party style guides and templates.
  • Prepare art assets for external design resources/agencies and interface with them for other needs.
  • Ensure that Capcom brand usage guideline, style guides and standards are adhered to
  • Mentoring a junior member of the team. Helping establish a growth path and setting goals for the individual.  Assigning tasks and ensuring that they meet their deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a graphic designer in an in-house corporate environment or design agency
  • Outstanding team player; excellent collaboration skills
  • A self-starter with strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Understand brand system and provide direction and feedback internally and to agencies to ensure consistency with design system and guidelines
  • A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating strong design skills and branding experience across multiple touch-points
  • Experience creating designs for a variety of mediums including: print, online, Powerpoint presentations and event graphics. Experience with video and motions graphics a plus
  • Sketching & illustration abilities are a plus
  • Solid understanding of online production as well as knowledge of printing process, materials and proofing methods
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills. Fluent in English with a proven track record of presenting to and influencing management
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Expert skill level with standard Adobe Creative Suite especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
  • Experience managing team members
  • Bachelor’s degree in design or related field required
