Position Summary

The role of the Brand Marketing Manager is to lead a larger brand marketing team to maximize the sales potential of Capcom's Fighting Games. The Brand Marketing Manager may also be assigned to other Capcom products and campaigns.


This position will also have interaction with Capcom’s emerging Esports programs and will work with internal stakeholders on fighting game community activities and work collaboratively to grow the competitive Esports scene through Capcom Pro Tour and other related Esports events.


Responsible for managing effective, innovative, and cost-efficient marketing campaigns in North and South America territories, and working collaboratively with Capcom’s European and Japanese promotional teams, as well as R&D.  The Brand Marketing Manager should be capable of managing a large AAA marketing campaign with limited oversight, as well as management of Associate Product Managers if applicable.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities


Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for managing effective, innovative, and cost-efficient marketing campaigns in North and South America territories, and working collaboratively with Capcom’s European and Japanese promotional teams, as well as R&D.
  • Work collaboratively, support and provide leadership across sales, channel, public relations, legal, digital, licensing and media departments to maximize sales potential of products. 
  • Creation and management of key marketing documents such strategy documents and product roadmaps.
  • Manage creative agencies to deliver best in class marketing assets such as key art, trailers, website, and online banners.
  • Deliver engaging experiences at key trade show events, and provide general event support on-site.
  • Provide media spokesperson duties for assigned products, including live on-camera interviews.
  • Management of marketing budgets for assigned products, and work collaboratively with Capcom’s finance team.
  • Work collaboratively with 1st party partners such as Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo and Valve, to maximize sales potential for products.
  • Management and mentorship for Associate Product Managers
  • Other duties as required

Minimum Requirements

 Education and Experience

  • BA in Business/Marketing or related field.
  • 4-5 years product management experience in a related entertainment industry.
  • The ideal candidate will have industry experience working on AAA titles.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
  • Must have strong project management skills
  • Japanese business proficiency recommended.

Physical Demands

This position requires regular travel both domestically and internationally.

This position occasionally requires exerting up to 25 pounds of force to move objects. Other physical demands may include climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, running, sitting, lifting, fingering, typing, thumbing, grasping, talking, yelling, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
