Position Summary

Providing contract and administrative support to the General Counsel, Corporate Counsel & Senior Paralegal

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: contract administration, which includes summarizing agreement terms, electronic contract execution and scanning documents into the contract database; maintaining corporate and other legal documents and electronic files; providing electronic forms to internal business groups; processing invoices and expense reports, scheduling meetings.   Other miscellaneous projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

An exciting opportunity to support the dynamic Capcom legal team in proactively providing legal advice to a broad spectrum of the video game business—from the game development, digital distribution, merchandise licensing and emerging eSports business to handling dispute resolutions and regulatory compliance.    


Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  1. Will be the point of contact for the Legal Department's administrative, contractual  and internal processes. 
  2. Perform departmental administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, editing presentations, printing,  submitting expense reports, processing invoices and filing as needed.
  3. Database administrator for companywide legal request intake system.  
  4. Contract administration – processing RINGI approvals, obtaining CEO e-signature on agreements, scanning, and processing contract execution.  
  5.  Serve as the main point of contact for the legal team with external vendors, internal customers, and other Capcom entities.  
  6. Maintaining the electronic contracts database and files.  
  7. Provide training to employees for legal department processes and systems.  
  8. Track and follow-up on legal request intake submissions for the Licensing Department.  
  9. Process Licensing Department NDA’s for approval and signature  
  10. Route and process licensing related press releases for approval.  



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Curiosity with a “growth mindset”
  • Intrinsic motivation in learning and developing new skills
  • Paralegal experience preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of legal terminology and contract administration
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Word skills required; proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of cloud-base contract database and legal project management system
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, is extremely detail oriented, and has an incredibly strong work ethic and customer service skills
  • Intellectual property knowledge preferable
  • A strong sense of humor

Minimum Requirements


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Working knowledge of legal terminology and contract preparation.
  • Exceptionally strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities, effectively utilize resources and work well under deadline pressure.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS word skills required; proficiency in Excel, Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of cloud-base contract database and legal project management system
  • Sound judgment and the ability to properly handle confidential information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, extremely detail oriented, and incredibly strong work ethic and customer service skills. 
  • Ability to work independently, be resourceful and know when to ask questions.
  • Ability to handle busy work environment while keeping a positive attitude and staying focused.
  • Must be able to utilize or learn standard office equipment such as faxes, copiers, scanners, and mailing equipment.
