OVERVIEW

Job Title: Business Analyst, Strategic Planning (Temporary)

Reports to: Director, Strategic Planning

 

Position Summary
Reports to the Director of Strategic Planning

 

Works with the Director to provide relevant analysis for business strategy and publishing operations data.
 
Supervision Exercised

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Prepares monthly reports. 
    • Prepares on a monthly basis, NPD and North American Market Reports.
    • Assesses and compiles relevant data into a monthly report to be shared with internal stakeholders.
    • Performs analysis of data, provides relevant findings, trends, and recommendations for formulating Capcom’s business strategies.
  • Works with the Director to monitor, record, analyze and report relevant KPIs for assigned titles.

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to self-manage
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of Capcom’s each videogame brands (at least Capcom’s flagship brands such as Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Mega Man, Devil May Cry, Monster Hunter etc.)

Minimum Requirements

 

Education and Experience

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience, ideally within the videogame or entertainment industries
  • Experience working at a Japanese company highly preferred
  • Proficient in office software applications such as MS Excel and Powerpoint
